Jessica’s Big Little World
Art Director - April 2021 to September 2023
As an Art Director on Jessica’s Big Little World, I managed the Character/Props & FX Team and the Background Paint and Color Design Team to maintain a visually inviting look for the show.
As the show was a spin-off from Craig of the Creek, we tried to push the design style of the show. Simplifying the characters and backgrounds more cozy and inviting for the viewer. The one key difference between Craig of the Creek and Jessica’s Big Little World was treating the series by having the lights off instead of how every other show has all the lights on in any background. Because of this, in the 20 episodes we made, we had 74 different Color Palettes that allowed for each and every moment to feel specific and magical.
